Friday

The day after presentations and the marks are out. Campus is so dead. People are becoming more confident in their groups. We thought we were a strong group but it seems now that we just didn't add all the information that we had in our presentation.

There are about 5 groups at campus at the moment. We are so busy at the moment trying to correct our mistakes and make our presentation the best that it can be.

 Everyone is working so hard on the strategy and concept for the presentation next week.

We don't want to miss out on anything like we did yesterday. Honestly, I didn't expect to get the mark we did. We got the exact same mark as our buddy team.

We are definitely going to be coming to campus on Sunday to complete the concept process to have less work to do for the following 3 days.

I am more than willing to stay late but not stay over at Vega. I need to sleep at home.

Review

Yesterday was such a long and tiring day. There was so much to do in such a short space of time. We all worked really to complete our exploration and research stage. It took a really long time to complete and we stayed really late to complete all the important factors. I had no time to write, eat or blog.

We had a presentation today. It went relatively well, we had good reviews and remarks but we had to improve. We needed to have a break from all the drama and the scenery so we left to have some lunch and coffee.

We arrived back at Vega with a clear mind and different ways to improve our presentation and what we exactly need to do for our presentation on Wednesday. The times have changed again.

We are all really exhausted but still have work today and are going to come on Sunday to complete what hasn't been done.

Bobby Bear Visit

I went to Vega relatively late today but I was there before anyone. I always have this anxiety of being late. I had to research competitors, differences and similarities. There's so much work to do but we are taking it easy.

We're excited about how we can transform everything. We've transformed our working space so we are all together and in unity.

Research is annoying but it just has be done aswell with the Situational analysis and Porter's five sources. I feel like I'm not being used for all my capabilities. I'm just sitting around waiting to be allocated work.

People are starting to get annoyed with others and drama is around the corner. I have discovered different things about people. You can't trust anyone, you have to be aware of what you say and who you're around.

Week 2

Going back to Vega on a Monday morning at 6:30am. Entering an empty building. Empty, messy and doesn't smell all that great. I was not amped for coming back but now the games actually begin.

The marks are out and people are extremely excited about their marks for presentations and layout marks. 72,50% just for the presentation is good. We didn't expect to get that type of mark. Friday presentations were interesting, long, nerve wrecking but good.

The panel were really happy with our agency identity and the way we took aspects with our agency. I'm getting used to the waking up early and working in an all girl group.

So far we wanted to get a meeting with Jackie but that seemed impossible until after our presentation on Thursday. It's going to be difficult but we've taken a different approach to the brief.

Day 3

Day 3 of brand challenges and everyone is stressing, people are talking really loud and are working really hard on their laptops. There's not as much excitement as Day 1. It's weird going to allocated to rooms where you don't see your class mates.

There's so much to do in such a small amount of time. The stress has officially kicked in and I'm starting to freak out. I've got a test tomorrow and I feel like I'm the only one studying.  We started our morning with a group photo and it was a good start to liven everyone up and keep them in a good mood.

The photos looks amazing and everyone is working hard on finishing the look of the logo and our business model. There are plenty of things to complete but we're trying extremely hard to get the work done.

Our client briefing is at 1pm and we're are super excited to see exactly what we can accomplish and concur. I need to concentrate on my test for now and give my 110% tomorrow with no disturbances.

Until tomorrow..

D-Day

As I woke up this morning I realized that this was the day that I was dreading for a year. On my way to Vega i was so nervous to meet my group and see what the day was going to be like because first impressions last a lifetime. 

I'm a very shy person at first and didn't know how people would respond to my personality. After our first meeting and looked all big eyed at a friend I realized that it's all hard work from here.in other words it was a rude awakening. I met my group members and they are all amazing young women. 

Working in an all girl group is going to have it difficulties but we all are getting along great and are working extremely well to make everything perfect. We finished early on day 1 because we accomplished a lot. We got our name and researched anything and everything important.

 Day 2 we put our heads together and shared the work load with one member absent. It shows how hard we're willing to work to get deadlines and work on time. I'm really proud of what we've done so far. Tomorrow is another day.
